Dare 2 Dream Farms is a small family farm in Lompoc that has grown into a trusted source for backyard chickens, handcrafted coops, farm fresh eggs, locally grown produce, and special farm events. We strive to help all customers access the goodness of a true farm-to-table experience.

What you’ll handle:

- Create packing lists, labels, and delivery routes for farm products (chickens, produce, milk, eggs, and other supplies and merchandise) using WooCommerce, Excel, Maps, and other carrier services when necessary.
- Fulfill orders for pick up at the farm.
- Arrange delivery details with customers and provide updates as needed en-route.
- Deliver farm products in company vehicles to customers in Coastal California from the Bay Area to Orange County.
- Provide coop maintenance to clients, including mucking, dusting, adding bedding, and monitoring chicken health.
- Maintain a clean delivery vehicle, keep track of vehicle maintenance, and maintain tools used for delivery and coop maintenance calls.
- Handle cash payments on delivery and take payments via credit card using a phone app or provided terminals, maintaining the safety and integrity of customer information.
- Learn to identify the age, breed, sex, and health of chickens for order fulfillment.
- Provide customers with basic chicken care recommendations and other farm product information over the phone and during delivery.
- Have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Lift 60 pounds
- Perform 14 hours of work per day, up to 11 of which are driving.
- Spend one night away from home every other week.
- Must be able to handle livestock, specifically chickens.
- Have problem-solving and reasoning skills, basic computer skills, and good mechanical aptitude.
- Pass a background check

Compensation
- $16.00 - $18.00 hourly plus OT
- Yearly PTO: 40 hours Vacation, 40 hours Sick Time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
