We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Intake Coordinator to join our team. The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for managing patient intake processes, scheduling appointments, and ensuring accurate documentation in a medical or dental office setting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist patients as they arrive for appointments
- Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information
- Schedule patient appointments using medical scheduling software
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
- Maintain electronic medical records with accuracy and confidentiality
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages promptly
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and office policies
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate patient care
- Make patient binders
- Assist with monthly chart audits and routine chart maintenance
- Answer incoming calls and monitor fax lines
- Follow written IOP procedures
- Assist with IOP intake and admissions
- Schedule appointments using Simple Practice
- Administer assessments, such as MOCA exams, strengths and needs assessment and other cognitive assessments
- Assist with keeping an updated plan of care
- Keeps an accurate count of patient census and status
- Document using the Simple Practice System

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred
- Proficiency with eClinicalWorks, Eaglesoft, or similar electronic health record systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with patients and staff
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of medical records management practices

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 29 - 35 per week
