POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Electro/Mechanic Tech I is responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of the assigned facilities equipment and installations, including but not limited to: Air compressors, air conditioning units, swamp coolers, exhaust fans, fire suppression system, building and grounds, gates, alarm system, water heaters, space heaters, furniture, illumination system, etc.

Frequent activities for this position include.
- Daily walkthroughs by the building to verify everything is operating as expected.
- Inspection and troubleshooting for:

- Compressed air system
- A/C units
- Swamp coolers
- Restrooms issues
- Emergency generator
- Electrical installations
- Lock out Tag out
- Conducts periodic inspections to ensure 5S’s and safety conditions are maintained in the building.
- Coordinates the activities of facilities contractors, ensuring safety compliance and issuing proper work permits, etc.
- Communicate with internal customers verbally and in writing and supports them on facilities needs they may have such as: furniture rearrangement, office relocation, equipment repairs, cleaning, board installation, etc.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and correct the issues, calling external contractors if needed.
- Ensures building is always showable.
- Maintains hazardous waste room organized.
- Operates cardboard baler and compactor.
- Ensures compliance with all preventative maintenance program work orders, either performing the work or supervise external contractors doing it.
- Ensure critical equipment of the building is well maintained and ready to work.
- Emergency generator
- Fire protection system
- Electrical power substation and transformers
- Etc.
- This position will work with vendors to obtain project quotations, bids, validate them, and revise the scope of work, timeline, etc. for all the needs involving facilities support to the building.
- Responsible for the maintaining of spare part stock as needed for the critical equipment and reconciling invoices for proper shipments.
- Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) and MS Office Operation & Management
- Possess the ability to troubleshoot essential equipment within the building over the phone with technical advisors as needed in an expedited manner.
- Execution of the Environmentally Sensitive Inventory Management Program (ESIM)
- Monitor and coordinate scheduled inspections on all company owned equipment.
- Performing quality control procedures to make sure that all facility systems are operational and efficient.
- Developing system control features that set and maintain quality standards for facilities maintenance.
- Interacting and working with wide range of people to include management, vendors, clients, and IT Staff.
- Provides training for various industrial equipment and vehicles.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Demonstrated technical background on: (Minimum 1-3 years of experience)
- A/C units and evaporative coolers
- Air compressors
- Electrical installations
- Fire suppression and alarm systems.
- Doors and automatic gates
- General building repairs
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
- Team oriented individual.

- HVAC Certification
- OSHA 10
