We are a small animal Hospital in Moorpark lead by Doctors John Gonda, Mike Villano & Janet Palomares. We see primarily dogs and cats.

In March 2020, we began operating via curbside service. We added additional staff to help bring pets to and from owners cars and assist with patient check in and check out and the position of "Runner" was created.

While curbside service has (mostly) ended, the influx of pets has not slowed down. We decided having someone to help move pets throughout the hospital was something we needed to maintain. That is why we are searching for additional Runners to add to our team

Your main duties include, but are not limited to:

- Greeting pet owners
- Preparing/cleaning exam rooms
- Brining pets in to the exam rooms and performing check in steps
- Weighing pets and recording it in their record
- Taking back dropped of pets or pets back to the treatment area
- Relaying information between departments
- Bringing pets, and occasionally medications, back to their owners after treatment
- You may be asked to place phones on hold, but taking/making phone calls is not a Runner duty
- Checking for microchip numbers and updating in the pets record when needed
- Light office cleaning
- _**MUST be available Saturdays 8am - 1pm. We would like you to work a few week days over the next month for training but your schedule will be every Saturday from 8am - 1pm.**_

This is a GREAT opportunity for someone without any experience that wants to get in to the Veterinary field
