**THE POSITION**:
**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:
As part of this position, your responsibilities will include developing plans and estimates for a variety of work operations, such as construction, paving, and snow removal, under the supervision of subordinate managers. You will be responsible for recommending the allocation of resources, including equipment, manpower, and materials, to achieve program objectives and ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will coordinate work assignments and promote effective communication among team members. It will be crucial for you to ensure that field work adheres to policy, procedure, quality standards, and plan compliance, as well as maintaining performance records. You will also have the opportunity to meet with stakeholders to explain operations, address any issues, and foster positive relationships. Moreover, you will play a key role in initiating and supporting efforts to enhance work methods and materials. Encouraging teamwork and soliciting input to improve production and quality will be important aspects of your role. Lastly, you will review complaint handling and road conditions to prioritize work and optimize resources.

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- ** Telework**:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, at the discretion of the supervisor. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- This position may be eligible for an Alternate Work Schedule (AWS).

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**Q**UALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- One year of experience as a Highway Maintenance Coordinator, Roadway Programs Coordinator, or Transportation Construction Manager 1;** or**:

- Six years of technical experience in highway maintenance, highway construction, or maintenance of heavy equipment used in highway construction projects; **or**:

- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

**Special Requirement**:

- This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent.

**Other Requirements**:
