As an Independence Cleaning Team Leader, you will assist the independence cleaning supervisor in performance of supervisory duties in the specialty floor-care and general cleaning of Agency and Non-Agency facilities. The individual in this role will also be responsible for the following duties:

- Work on Special Projects at multiple locations including stripping and waxing as well as maintaining equipment.
- Assist Independence Cleaning Supervisor in the management of internal and external regularly occurring service contracts to ensure proper staffing and service interval.
- Assist Independence Cleaning Supervisor in the management internal and external special project contracts to ensure proper staffing and service interval.
- Update tracking of internal special projects
- Independently manage teams of housekeepers & floor-care technicians in the completion of individual jobs / assignments.
- Monitor and coach housekeepers & floor-care technicians in the performance of their duties
- Train housekeeping and floor-care staff, in the use of cleaning solvents, chemicals and equipment so they can respond appropriately to cleaning/contamination issues.
- Monitor Independence Cleaning Service Ticket Tracking System and communicate with Independence Cleaning Supervisor regarding requests for cleaning / floor-care.
- Assist with maintenance and care of equipment.
- Report and initiate actions, immediately, to correct any noted cross-contamination issues or problems.
- Report safety and repair issues to maintenance department.
- Attend staff meeting and in-service training as assigned.
- Be available to provide on-call services when required.

**Qualifications**:

- High School education or HiSET (High School Equivalency Credential)
- Six (6) months experience working in floor-care
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

**Compensation**:. $20.00 per hour

**Hours**: Full Time, 30-40 hours per week, 4pm-10:00PM (2nd shift)
