**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and prepare meals according to dietary guidelines and menu requirements
- Ensure that food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner
- Oversee the kitchen staff and delegate tasks as necessary
- Coordinate with catering services for special events or functions
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with the dietary department to meet the nutritional needs of residents/patients

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills
- Experience in catering or large-scale food service operations
- Proficiency in using knives and other kitchen tools
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Experience in menu planning and meal preparation
