Server Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. **Duties**:

- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Deliver orders promptly and ensure accuracy
- Provide menu recommendations and answer customer inquiries
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Process payments using cash register or POS system
- Assist in bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Familiarity with basic food preparation techniques is a plus
- Sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
