The Oblates of St. Francis de Sales are looking for responsible, caring Certified Medication Technician to work in their retirement community, Annecy Hall. We are hiring for PRN medication technician. There is a $1.75/hr differential on the weekend. The primary purpose of the position is to provide each resident with activities of daily living, medication administration, and other services. We are looking for someone who can be flexible with their hours.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of Certified Medication Technician**:

- Administer medications and treatments to residents
- Assist residents in maintaining activities of daily living (personal hygiene, bathing, oral care, foot and nail care, skin care, dressing)
- Communicate changes in resident condition to Delegating Nurse Manager
- Answer call bells in a timely manner
- Schedule doctor's appointments and tests
- Assist in admission of residents
- Take and record vital signs and weights, as assigned
- Assist residents with toileting needs
- Assist residents with transfers (beds, wheelchairs, and recliners)
- Assist residents with meals, feed if required
- Escort residents to meals, activities and appointments if assigned
- Record intake and output
- Keep residents room(s) and service areas clean, orderly and safe
- Distribute and change linens, as needed
- Provide range of motion and ambulation, as needed.
- Turn and reposition residents as needed.
- Help maintain privacy and personal dignity of residents
- Complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner
- Participate in in-services, training, and meetings
- Every two (2) hour rounds and safety checks as needed
- Complete assigned laundry
- Other duties as assigned by licensed staff

Pay: $17.50 per hour
