**Qualifications**:

- Valid School District Administrator (SDA) or School District Leader (SDL) certificate preferred; NYS School Administrator/Supervisor (SAS) or School Building Leader (SBL) certificate required
- Valid teaching certification
- Minimum five (5) years experience teaching in World Languages and English as a New Language and/or related field and/or three (3) years of administration and supervision experience

**Responsibilities**:
Lead the articulation of comprehensive 6-12 World Language and ENL programs of study to ensure that all students meet and exceed the New York State Standards and graduation requirements. Work directly with the Deputy Superintendent, building leadership and faculty and staff to integrate key curriculum areas, including but not limited to, World Languages - French, German, Latin, Chinese and Spanish and administration of the ENL program grades K-12.

Responsible for the leading, planning, assessment, accountability, reporting and evaluation of activities and student support focused on the development of globally competent and competitive graduates. The responsibilities of the position are outlined in the linked job description.
