**Responsibilities**:
**Front Office**:
- Welcome patients warmly, manage intake forms, and efficiently schedule appointments.
- Navigate full-cycle patient registration, including insurance verification, eligibility checks, fee communication, and payment collection.
- Proficient in authorizations and referrals.
**Back Office**:
- Escort patients to exam rooms, conduct preliminary physical tests, and record vital signs.
- Assist providers with patient education, ensuring a comprehensive and caring approach.
- Manage patient and lab charges for streamlined billing processes.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- CPR certification.
**Skills and Abilities**:
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- Proficient in medical terminology, medications, and injection procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with physicians, staff, and management.
- Demonstrated empathy and a commitment to treating all patients with kindness and consideration.
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA requirements for maintaining patient confidentiality.
**Experience**:
- 1 year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
**Schedule**:
- Day shifts only, no weekends.
- Per diem and part-time positions available.
**Work Environment**:
Clinic setting, providing in-person office support.
