The **Free-Standing Emergency Room** is a 13-bed facility seeing about 60 patients a day with a physician and PA on staff as well as additional support including ED Techs. This well supported department is centered around teamwork and patient
- first mindset. In an emergency, quick access to skilled care makes all the difference. That's why Sentara offers access to emergency services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our management team has been long standing and diligent about building a cohesive and dedicated care team to serve the Charlottesville, VA area.
**Required Call**: Full Time nurses have 16 hours of required call per 6 weeks. Part Time Nurses have 12 hours of required call per 6 weeks.
**Experienced Nurse Orientation**:Experienced critical care nurses can expect an orientation period of 10 weeks on the unit.
