Milton Cat is looking for a Machine Technology Specialist in our New Hampshire and Southern Maine territory. This individual will provide the best possible experience for customers by focusing on construction technology features that are standard on Caterpillar Machines. Responsibilities will include tuning new machine performance, showcasing Caterpillar machine technology to customers and providing after sales support. This position is primarily in the field traveling to customer’s job sites.

**Pay Range**:$60k-$70k depending on experience. This is a salaried position that includes a company vehicle, computer and cell phone.

**Responsibilities**:

- Teaching customers / operators how to use a machine’s technology at the time of delivery
- Providing follow-up training upon customer request
- Presenting information to various size groups
- Providing after sales customer support with technology related issues
- Assisting in the creation of online customer training materials
- Perform all related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
- Experience in site work, earth moving or heavy construction
- Heavy equipment operation experience is a plus
- Basic understanding of construction layout and grading
- Proficient in the use of a computer and related software
- Comfortable presenting information both one on one and in front of an audience
- Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Must be organized and possess strong problem solving skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Ability to travel to other Milton CAT locations as needed
