**The Role**

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a**Materials Specialist**to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Mesa.

The key responsibilities of this**Materials Specialist **include, but are not limited to:

- Responsible for prioritizing the material flow within the business unit. This includes prioritizing materials requirements of purchased and manufactured components and work schedule at the Mesafacility.
- Coordinates activities of Planning, Purchasing and Manufacturing to maximize the effective execution of load and schedule within the department
- Evaluates capacity requirements and advises supervision/planning of forecasted load concerns/opportunities
- Prioritizes and follows contracts throughout the area and coordinates with supervision/planning and process engineering to ensure that schedules are attained
- Consolidates, communicates, and tracks component requirements across multiple facilities to achieve revenue targets
- Performs related clerical duties such as log-in/out of production contracts
- Makes recommendations for improving production flow and operating efficiencies

**The Person**

The key skills and qualities of a at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:
Excellent interpersonal skills and be adept at both oral and written communications. Confidentiality, being a team player, and being able to work in a fast pace environment are required.

Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field OR High school education plus 4-6 years related experience in the Materials Department or equivalent education/ work experience. Working knowledge of Data 3 preferred.

Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 30lbs.Domestic and International travel may be required between operations and to customers.
