Director of Youth Development

Chicago Rush North Shore & Wilmette Wings Soccer Club is a competitive travel soccer club located in the Wilmette, IL area. We are currently seeking a Director of Youth Development that would oversee our foundational soccer athletes from the U7 through U10 age groups, and who is an energetic, enthusiastic, and highly motivated director to help guide our staff and players inline with our club principles and values.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversight of all U10 and younger teams in the club.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director, Boys & Girls DOCs on implementing the
- curriculum (Rush Curriculum)
- Scheduled meetings/workshops with coaches, DOCs and ED.
- Implementation and tracking of coaches and the curriculum.
- Monitor Coaching subs and coverage for game and practices. Be ready to jump in as sub coach when available.
- Work with coaches on setting up a guest player procedure to make sure there is always an adequate number of a player at each game.
- Mentor Coaches & Team Advisory
- Have an active PR role with the team managers and parents.
- Provide at mid season a detailed coach evaluation report to DOCs & ED.
- Actively Collaborate with leadership during tryouts.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- USSF 'C' License or higher preferred **Offer US Soccer License Reimbursement**:
- 3 years previous experience in coaching youth soccer necessary
- Experience coaching U7 through U10 age groups
- Afternoon/evening hours on weekdays and weekend hours
- Background playing soccer at the high school, college or professional level
Pay: $48,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
