**JOB SUMMARY**:
Under the general supervision from the Principal, performs complex data management and record-keeping working in support of school programs and operations. This person is responsible for the cumulative folders, report cards, databases, transcripts and other related data for all incoming and enrolled students and families. Responsibilities and expectations will shift as educational and school needs dictate.

**DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF POSITION**

The employee in this position is responsible for the efficient and effective performance of full-range, complex tasks, including but not limited to effective public relations and communications, positive relationship development with other education institutions, efficient customer service, office detail work and processing numerous requests often simultaneously. The employee also provides coordination of activities and routine projects, and works with sensitive and confidential information and correspondence. Minimal supervision is received from the principals who review work occasionally or on a problem basis through conferences and results achieved. The employee will collaboratively work with multiple stakeholders including administration, college counseling, faculty, and other staff. The registrar works closely with the principals, admissions team, and college counselors on a consistent and regular basis. He or she is often the final step in internal accounting and must understand the legalities for record keeping. The employee is expected to exercise initiative and judgment in planning and organizing work, efficiently accomplishing work assignments, handling work problems, and handling confidential matters. This position involves frequent interaction with faculty, staff, parents, and students.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Primary role in the development of the student master schedule.
- Composes correspondence, reports or other material for review or signature; handles confidential and sensitive matters.
- Maintains statistical information or other data in logs, spreadsheets or databases.
- Maintain and update immunization roster a list of students and file all immunization reports as required by government agencies (K-12th & CHDP)
- Provides information regarding school policy when appropriate; attempts to handle complaints or refers to the appropriate principal or counselor if necessary.
- Supports various departments, including administrative, attendance, business, college counseling, development, and technical.
- Trains teachers for accurate grade reporting
- Assists teachers in accessing academic records.
- Provides a check and balance for the college counseling department for graduation requirements.
- Maintains thorough adherence to school policies and procedures.
- Works collaboratively with Admissions for re-enrollment.
- Works effectively and efficiently under occasionally demanding situations and adapts readily to change.
- Gathers withdrawal grades from teachers for withdrawing students.
- Produces a variety of memos, letters, reports, and forms.
- Records, designs, and prints certificates of recognition for school awards night and promotion.
- Standardized test coordinator for MAP,r AP, SAT, and PSAT Testing.

**Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**

**Acceptable Experience and Education**

At least five years of responsible and recent office experience supplemented by courses in data management or any equivalent experience and/or education which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform this work. FACTS competency and/or prior school registrar experience required.

Salary Description

$47,800 - $69,000 Annually
