Quality Technician I
**Reports to**: Quality Manager
**Direct Reports**: None

**General Summary**:
Perform detailed inspections at different phases of production throughout the manufacturing process. Works with Engineering and Quality to perform detailed inspections.
This position requires the use and understanding of quality inspection methods and equipment. This position required attention to detail, ability to prepare quality documentation and maintain quality records.

**Responsibilities**:
2. Inspects and measures parts for production and support of engineering and quality investigations.

3. Maintains measurement records.

4. Position or connect parts or instruments for testing or operation; use tools or equipment for inspection purposes. Enters data into computer for analysis.

5. Performs in process audits and checks in production.

6. Use of equipment such as, comparator, durometer, calipers, micrometers, Keyence, microscope.

7. Follows sampling procedures, forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality data. Shares specialized knowledge with others.

8. Inspect and document conformance of outbound material.

9. Perform in-process and final inspections of parts according to current policies and procedures. Document results as per written work instructions.

10. Other projects and tasks as assigned.

**Requirements**:
1.Statistical process control experience.

2. Capable of performing measurements with indicators, calipers, micrometers, Keyence Instruments, microscope, comparators.

3. Perform various computer related tasks and programs including but not limited to: Excel, Microsoft Access, Word, and/or others related to the Quality Improvement Department.

4. Attentive to detail, accurate and concise. Able to keep neat and organized records and files.

5. Good problem-solving skills.

**Education**:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent

**Physical Requirements**:
Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and / or lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. If the use of arm and / or leg controls requires exertion of force greater than sedentary work and worker sits most of the time, the job is light work.
