**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or Psychology.
- Experience in community mental health, clinical program administration, and clinical treatment services for children/adolescents.
- Clinical supervisory/management experience preferred
- Bilingual skills preferred (i.e., Spanish or other language relevant to the clients’ needs)
- Good diagnostic skills, knowledge of family systems therapy, goal-oriented treatment, well-written and organizational skills are required.
- Requires the ability to demonstrate adaptability to a flexible work schedule, analyze tasks and perform them efficiently with mínimal direction.
- Must be detail-oriented, multi-task proficient, and have a professional presentation.
- Requires the ability to independently use a computer, possess good communication/computer skills, have Microsoft Office skills, and learn necessary computer programs.
- Experience working with DMH paperwork is preferred.
- Must possess a valid California driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record under the Clinics' liability policy. Must pass all applicable health, fingerprint/LiveScan and DMV clearances.
- If the supervisor is an LCSW, LPCC or LMFT, the supervisor must have completed a one-time 15-hour course in supervision (Licensed Clinical Psychologists and Physicians certified in Psychiatry are not required to take the supervision course),
- Maintain a current and active California license that is not under suspension or probation.
- Have been licensed in California or any other state for at least two (2) years out of the last five (5) years prior to the commencement of supervision.
- Have practiced psychotherapy during at least two (2) years out of the last five (5) years prior to the commencement of supervision (or, if an LEP, has provided psychological counseling pursuant to BPC section 4989.14); OR Provided direct supervision to ASWs, APCCs, MFT Trainees, and/or Associate MFTs who perform psychotherapy during at least two (2) years out of the last five (5) years prior to the commencement of supervision. Supervision of psychotherapy performed by a student (social work intern or a professional clinical counselor trainee) shall be accepted if the supervision performed is substantially equivalent to the supervision required for registrants.

**JOB PURPOSE**:
The Clinical Supervisor - Outpatient (CS-OP) has oversight and coordinates program and service delivery components of Mental Health Services. The CS-OP also develops, monitors, and coordinates services for clients and their families. In addition, the CS-OP assists in the day-to-day management of the program and services including staff training and management of contractual requirements.

The CS-OP position requires an energetic self-starter who is able to function comfortably in a multi-disciplinary team environment or independently and relates well to co-workers and County representatives. This position requires flexibility and the ability to manage time and multiple tasks with little supervision. The individual in this position must be able to assume a wide range of responsibilities, provide timely responses to requests and deadlines and works well under pressure
