**DESCRIPTION**:
Under general supervision of the Director of Case Management Services, the Intake and Operations Coordinator performs administrative functions in support of Student Affairs Case Management Services as well as Basic Needs. The incumbent navigates incoming requests from students, faculty, and staff to report concerns of students. Additionally, the incumbent is independently responsible for coordinating programming efforts geared to support students, inform faculty and staff of resources on how to effectively support students of concern.

The Intake and Operations Coordinator performs duties aligned with Case Management Services’ goals to facilitate the wellness, retention, intellectual growth, and graduation of all students. Case Management Services works in collaboration with the College Deans of Student Affairs and other campus partners for students in crisis or students with complex psycho-social needs.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Excellent communication skills including typing correspondence using correct rules of grammar, format, spelling, punctuation, etc. Expert skill in accurate and speedy data entry. Demonstrated skill in using a multi-line phone system. Demonstrated ability to use office machines, including calculator, photocopy, and fax machines.
- Demonstrated ability and expert knowledge to understand regulations, and to convey information clearly. Demonstrated ability to use good judgment in carrying out assigned tasks and in disseminating information. Mature discretion to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters discreetly and with tact. Demonstrated ability to triage requests for information and assistance.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment that can overwhelm with its multiple interruptions. Ability to multi-task. Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail. Ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks. Complete accuracy in inputting data into a database.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; exercises patience, diplomacy, flexibility, and effectiveness in all interactions. Ability to communicate, engage and develop rapport with individuals of diverse cultural, social, and religious backgrounds, and varied age, gender, and sexual orientation. Must be able to demonstrate respect and integrate cultural sensitivity when providing services.
- Demonstrated skill and willingness to function as a supportive team member, to cooperate and assist other staff in the performance of higher tasks.
- Demonstrated record management experience. Proven skill in developing and maintaining accurate, organized records, files, and filing system.
- Demonstrated ability to provide programmatic and logístical support for a variety of events and activities.
- Abilities in project management, problem identification and reasoning skills. Self-motivated and able to manage projects, as well as to collaborate effectively with others.
- Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures.

Annual Full Pay Range: $40,700 - $81,850 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $19.49 - $39.20

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
