**Job Summary**:
As a Host/Hostess at AFURI Ramen+Dumpling, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Your commitment to excellence and professionalism will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure that guests are seated in a timely manner while maintaining proper flow in the dining area.
- Communicate effectively with the serving staff to coordinate seating and provide accurate wait times to guests.
- Answer incoming calls and assist callers with inquiries or reservations in a professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host/hostess stand and lobby area.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up the host/hostess stand and preparing for the next shift.
- Uphold AFURI's standards of excellence in customer service and contribute to a positive and professional atmosphere.
- Collaborate with the management team to address any issues or concerns that may arise during the shift.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a host/hostess or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
