The teacher is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the ABEKA Curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Classroom teacher must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns.

Hourly pay varies depending on experience and degree level. Pay ranges from $12.00-$14.00 hourly.
- **Duties Include: (But Are Not Limited to)**:

- Attending to children's basic needs.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
- Observe and evaluate children's performance, behavior, social development, an physical health.
- Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development such as games, arts, crafts, music, and storytelling.
- Meet with parents/guardians to discuss their children's progress and needs, determine their priorities for their children, and suggest ways that they can promote learning and development.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- High energy and the ability's to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
- Encourage teaching teams success through modeling and coaching.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check through state from Bright from the Start (BFTS).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
