We are looking for a friendly Medical Front office receptionist that is detailed, caring, and focused on customer care. If you have a passion to help patients have an excellent quality of life, and have some experience with pulmonology, sleep medicine or acute care, we would love to hear from you.

The following is a list of the primary duties:
Responsible for greeting patients and obtaining and verifying demographic and insurance information. Answers the phones and schedules appointments. Works with the physician, medical assistants, coordinator and office staff. Maintains the strictest confidentiality and adheres to all HIPAA and security guidelines and regulations.
- Must have 2 years' experience in collecting payments, handling co payments, deductibles and balances.
- Must have experience with medical billing and coding.
- Must have experience with scheduling.
- Must be able to multi task and work as a team player.
- E-clincial works experience a plus.

Additional duties may include:

- Check in/ Check out duties
- Obtain authorization for referrals / insurance verification
- Collect copayments, deductibles, and outstanding balances
- Schedule patients for follow up and test.
- Advise patients of financial responsibilities
- Answering incoming calls and confirm patients for providers.
- Insurance verification and collections as needed.
- Ensure quality and accurate care is given to patients.
- Ensure quality and accurate support is given to providers.
- Additional duties as needed.

Professional demeanor and appearance are required. Team player. Excellent customer service required.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
