Job Title: Payroll Clerk

Location: Corporate Office - Irvine, CA (Fully Onsite, not remote or hybrid)

L.A. Fitness, America's premier fitness and sports club chain, has an immediate opening for a Payroll Clerk for the Irvine, California office.

Primary Duties Include:

- Post returned paychecks to unclaimed checks log and mail to the home address after verifying check has not been reissued
- Create FedEx packages for weekly and bi-weekly payrolls and for daily adjustment checks
- Scan garnishment orders and upload to 3rd party
- Answer employee calls on Payroll Queue for up to 3 non-consecutive hours per day
- Assist with entering timeclock punch updates in Kronos
- Special projects and miscellaneous administrative duties, as needed

Skill Requirements:

- High School graduate with some college preferred
- 2 to 3 years of administrative/office experience; basic payroll experience a plus
- Great attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality a must
- Strong verbal and telephone skills are required for interaction with employees
- Solid Excel and Word skills needed; and Workday experience a big plus
