Construction Site Safety Coordinator

The Site Safety Coordinator is responsible for carrying out the safety training and compliance objectives of the construction site. The Site Safety Coordinator must have construction safety experience and hold valid OSHA 30, First Aid & CPR certifications. Prefer the individual to be bilingual (English/Spanish).

**Responsibilities**:

- Conducts job site inspections
- Performs job task analysis
- Conducts new employee orientations
- Performs on-the-job training
- Conducts tool box talks
- Manages risk factors
- Investigates accidents involving site employees
- Investigates motor vehicle accidents involving site employees
- Site post-accident drug screens
- Supervises "suspicious nature" drug screens
- Conducts site general liability damage assessments
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Prefer bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Must have OSHA 30, First Aid & CPR certifications
- 3 years of construction safety experience required
- Must be able to work in outdoor construction environment, bend, kneel, lift, walk/stand for long periods

Ability to Relocate:

- Springfield, VA: Relocate before starting work (required)
