We are currently looking for a **Bilingual** **Material Prep/Handler** to become part of a high-speed industrial manufacturing team using state of the art technology and automation.
- **Job Summary**:_
This position prepares incoming inventory for high speed production for both of our offset presses.
- **Duties/Responsibilities**:_
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, and distributes items to designated areas.
- Sort and store items according to specifications.
- Recording amounts of materials or items distributed via appropriate computer program.
- Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
- Clean work area and ensure warehouse is accessible and safe.
- Use proper safety precautions.
- Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits.
- Operates forklift truck when necessary.
- Performs other related duties as requested.
- **Required Skills/Abilities**:_
- Strong attention to detail, familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook preferred), familiarity with ERP systems, various shipping systems, knowledge and use of barcode readers and scan gun technology.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage and organize daily paperwork.
- Strong communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with people.
- Ability to listen, read and understand information, instructions, and documentation.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, as well as accept direction from management on given assignments.
- Ability to work collectively in a team environment.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Must be bilingual.
- **Education and Experience**:_
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience and/or training using manual power moving equipment (Forklift, Pallet Jack, etc.)
- Forklift operator certification preferred.
