**7.5 hours per day,187 days per year**

**10-month position, Benefits eligible**

**Salary $17.10-$17.50 per hour**

**Available immediately after on-boarding is complete.**

**Job Summary**:Responsible for providing confidential secretarial/administrative support services to the Principal and staff. The ability to interact with staff, parents, and visitors in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of friendliness, professionalism, and confidentiality, is crucial to this role.

**QUALIFICATIONS**: _To successfully perform this position, a person must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. The qualification requirements listed below represent minimum levels of educational achievement, training, skills, and/or ability necessary._
- High School Diploma; college or business school preferred
- Experience with PowerSchool is helpful.
- Organized; ability to handle frequent interruptions
- Reliability in handling confidential information
- Strong interpersonal skills; including tact, patience, and courtesy
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**: _Employees must have the ability to perform the following essential functions on a timely basis with or without reasonable accommodations._
- Secretarial/administrative support to the Principal and staff.
- Maintain a safe and secure office environment.
- Greet visitors and process identification through the Raptor system.
- Maintain student attendance, prepare letters, and notify appropriate staff of issues or concerns when necessary.
- Process staff absence requests and secure substitute coverage.
- Assist the Principal in arranging coverage for any absent staff when no substitute is available.
- Maintain the daily Dismissal Spreadsheet for all students.
- Supervise student drop-off in the morning and dismissal student pickups (outside, rain or shine).
- Collect volunteer clearance information.
- Preparation of general correspondence and report generation using advanced computer skills with Google, Excel, Word, and PowerSchool databases.
- Answer phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate parties and take messages.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail.
- Maintain records; filing.
- Regular and consistent attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
