**Job Summary**
- We are seeking a Fire Protection Designer to join the team of our client, a reputable construction firm in Madison.
- This is a great direct hire opportunity with a reputable and growing firm with excellent benefits and employee perks.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, & Navisworks are required
- Knowledge of fire protection codes
- Perform hydraulic calculations with 3rd party design software (HydraCAD)
- 2-5 years minimum experience designing/engineering/coordinating fire protection systems required
- Previous fire protection field install experience a bonus

**ADDITIONAL SKILLS**:

- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Quick technical comprehension
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work individually and within team environments
- Flexible with work schedule to meet demands of construction projects

**Schedule**: This is an in-office role in with a full-time day shift schedule

Full benefits package includes 95% of cost for health insurance, 401 K, paid holidays, vacation and profit sharing for non-union applicants

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Fire protection systems design: 2 years (required)
- Revit, AutoCAD, & Navisworks: 1 year (required)
- fire protection codes: 1 year (required)
- hydraulic calc. with 3rd party design software-Hydra CAD: 1 year (required)
- fire protection field install: 1 year (required)
