The Spa Manager is responsible for ensuring everything runs like clockwork during our day-to-day operations and makes sure every guest has a relaxing and memorable experience.

**More specifically our Spa Managers**:

- Orchestrates the spa schedule and ensures proper guest flow
- Rocks sales numbers by providing gift card and retail recommendations
- Ensures a positive, consistent guest experience
- Operates as a strong second in command to the General Manager and will be relied upon to keep the spa running at optimal levels while the GM is not at the spa.
- Must be organized, dependable, a good trouble-shooter, and be able to resolve most issues.
- Needs thorough knowledge of all protocols and must be comfortable giving direction to others.
- Significant responsibility for moving retail and cross-selling the services of the spa.
- Responsible for, and typically scheduled to open and/or close the spa most days.
- This position requires at least 40-hours/week (at least 50-hours/week when business is slow).

**_Specialty Responsibilities:_**
- COVID-19 - ensure compliance with all CDC and Montgomery County, MD public health guidelines;
- Front desk operations;
- Assist with Scheduling - hospitality and technical staff;
- Guest relations - ensure that every guest experience exceeds their expectations;
- Employee relations - ensure equitable & consistent treatment of staff;
- Manage spa parties and events;
- Assist with recruitment and training: interviewing, recruiting and on-boarding.

**Experience and Skill Requirement**:

- Experience in spa or retail management position.
- Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must be a self-starter who enjoys working with the public in a fast-paced environment.
- Weekend and evening work is required.
- Proficiency in G-suite and other basic computer skills - _a plus._
- Experience with the Meevo software -_ a plus._
