The Metro Group Inc is looking for a Service Operations Manager to lead our Burner Service Team. We are looking for an agile, results-oriented leader to manage day-to-day operations and help us deliver excellent service to our customers.

The Service Operations Manager is responsible for the daily functions of all administrative service tasks including all scheduling, dispatching, billing, procurement, and customer service operations. Additional responsibilities will include labor and business analysis to track overall business unit progress and ensure that operations are set to meet established goals.

**Main responsibilities include**:

- Manage daily service operations to include all scheduling, dispatching, billing, and customer service activities.
- Ensure the business unit meets customer Service Level agreements and business unity key performance indicators.
- Ensure the Service team responds to all communications and can provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
- Track business metrics and work with management to improve operational efficiency.
- Plan and forecast daily operations to meet the short
- and long-term goals of the business unit.
- Engage in new business development activities to grow customer base and achieve revenue goals.
- Coach, train, and resource Service employees to ensure the business unit meets its goals and objectives.
- Complete and oversee administrative tasks for the Service department, including compiling payroll related items (time off, petty cash, overtime, etc) for submission to the payroll team.
- Effectively communicate with customers, manage conflict, and ensure customer retention.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Experience in a Service or Operations Management role
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to responsiveness and customer/co-worker satisfaction
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite products to include Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. as needed
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing operations
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service or service operations

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
