THE ROLE: PAYROLL AND BENEFITS COORDINATOR (NY)

The Payroll & Benefits Coordinator will join the People Team at Levain Bakery to support payroll processing and benefits administration. This role will report to the Senior Director of Payroll & Benefits.

**What you’ll do**:

- Assist Payroll Manager with high-volume, multi-state, weekly payroll.
- Audit weekly pay reports and variances.
- Respond to and resolve payroll and benefits-related inquiries from employees.
- Maintain employee payroll and benefits files.
- Assist with employee benefits orientations.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of W-2 forms and other year-end responsibilities.
- Review benefits invoices to ensure accurate and prompt payment.
- Produce payroll and benefits-related reports as requested.
- Open, sort, and respond to all incoming mail.
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities consistent with the role.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with UKG Ready is preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency with Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong?attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.?

**Compensation**:

- $70,000 - $80,000 plus 10% Annual bonus potential

Competitive triathletes and passionate bakers, Pam Weekes and Connie McDonald left their careers to open a small bread shop in New York City in 1995 — Levain Bakery.

One day, they baked a BIG chocolate chip walnut cookie as energy for triathlon training. At Levain, a batch of these 6-ounce cookies flew off the shelves, and an icon was born.
