**Medical Administrative Assistant**

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITES**
- Assist in training staff members and hires.
- Implement and monitor programs as directed by management.
- Verify insurance information, obtain authorizations, and single case agreements.
- Manage multiple excel spreadsheets for multiple companies.
- Work with sales representatives to assure clean/complete orders for billing.
- Follows up with patients regarding delivery, returned documentation (delivery tickets) to bill insurance.
- Triage orders to ensure medical criteria are present and all files are complete.
- Respond to questions and requests for information on products and compliance criteria.
- Answer incoming calls.
- Communicate with doctors’ offices to obtain progress notes and prescriptions.
- Participate in performance improvement activities.
- Follow up with patients to ensure proper delivery of products.
- Maintain patient files.

**POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**
- Medical assistance background required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Experience with Niko Health and Parachute platforms.
- Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency.
- Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
- Superior organizational skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner.
- Excellent customer service skills.

Pay: $20.80 - $25.05 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
