**St. Vincent de Paul Orlando Thrift Production Manager**
**SUMMARY**:The Production Manager provides supervision, oversight, and management of Thrift Stores operations to generate revenues to support SVDP Orlando programs and administration. The Production Manager manages Staff and Volunteers, oversees donations of merchandise, and promotion of the Store in the community. The Manager is a member of the Management Team. As Production Manager, he/she is responsible for ensuring the Staff give great customer service as well as monitoring the production performance of the Store.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
*Overseeing the employees and staff in the department. *Works with Store Manager scheduling for maximum workforce efficiency. *Evaluating, adjusting, and creating new policies and procedures as needed for effective operations. *Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed. *Acting as a liaison between management and workers. *Managing risk to minimize losses and maximize profits. *Leading and encouraging staff to operate at a high level of effectiveness.
**Special Conditions of Employment**:
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Vision abilities required by this job include: close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, push, and pull.
- Sufficient mobility to turn from side-to-side and the ability to lean and remove items from containers.
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**:This job has supervisory responsibilities on overseeing the Store Employees/Volunteers, included but not limited to: Online Sales Coordinator, Thrift Store Assistant, Cashier, Greeter, Donation Warehouse Attendant, Back-Room, Sorter/Pricer, Front Desk/Drivers, Drivers’ Assistant, among others.
**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**:Associate degree preferred. Bachelor’ degree in business, finance or marketing is highly preferable. Minimum three years’ experience in retail management experience. Knowledge of city ordinances and associated inspection and compliance.
**COMPUTER SKILLS**:To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient with MS Office: Excel and Word, Outlook, database programs, point of sale software, internet. Online HR and payroll access, Point of Sale, and inventory software.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays. Compensation is $12.50 - $13.00/hour.
