**CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION**
The HR Coordinator will report directly to the HR Specialist and assist with the day-to-day operations. In addition to the
duties described in the CUNY title overview, the HR Coordinator is responsible for the following:
- HR point person for the onboarding processes of all part-time employees, new-hire orientations, and audits for
accuracy, I-9 compliance, and ensuring all records are up to date
- Provides information to hiring managers regarding process and procedures
- Maintains an understanding of policies, procedures, regulations and collective bargaining agreements relevant to
human resources
- Administrative and paperwork oversight both electronic and paper files
- Assist with the daily data input of position management related to hires, reappointments, revisions, and
separations for hourly staff
- Troubleshoot any CUNYfirst issues and make corrections as necessary
- Keep up to date on current issues and matters related to HR
- Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
Bachelor's Degree required.
**OTHER QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Excellent judgment, strong communication and people skills
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion with regard to all matters, data, and documents
- Detailed oriented, self-directed, motivated and proactive
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking aptitude
- Familiar with CUNY’s collective bargaining agreements for white-collar titles and psc staff is preferred.
**COMPENSATION**
$68,245 -$70,541
**BENEFITS**
CUNY offers a comprehensive benefits package to employees and eligible dependents based on job title and classification. Employees are also offered pension and Tax-Deferred Savings Plans. Part-time employees must meet a weekly or semester work hour criteria to be eligible for health benefits. Health benefits are also extended to retirees who meet the eligibility criteria.
