Front Desk Receptionist/patient Representative

**Position Overview**
Greet and facilitate patients and visitors through the office in a professional, efficient, customer service-oriented manner.
**Essential Job Functions**
- Greet patients and visitors
- Register patient according to current guidelines
- Update patient demographic records
- Verify insurance eligibility
- Direct patients to other departments as indicated
- Collect and process appropriate payments at time of service
- Monitor and maintain appointment schedules for all providers
- Assist patients and visitors as required
- Pick-up, sort, and deliver mail
- Maintain clean and welcoming environment
- Open and close office at scheduled times
- Perform daily balance and closing of cash drawer
- Update patient profiles including: insurance, address, and other pertinent information
- Receive and unpack deliveries
- Regular and predictable attendance
Other tasks may be assigned based on practice need. Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
**Requirements**:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient keyboarding skills
- Ability to utilize multiple software programs efficiently
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Minimum of High School Diploma, preferred additional training

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
