Every summer for over 90 years, the Festival of Arts produces two world-renowned events: The Festival’s Fine Art Show and the Pageant of the Masters. Together both shows attract more than 250,000 visitors. The Festival also presents summer concerts series and special events.
**POSITION**:Light Board Operator** (Seasonal, Hourly)
**DEPARTMENT**: Lighting
**IMPORTANT DATES**:
The position runs from June 17 to August 30.
Must be available from June 17 to June 28 to assist with programming and attend rehearsals and then requires nightly attendance for the run of show July 3 through August 30 (off July 4).
**GENERAL SUMMARY**:
This position operates the Road Hog 4 lighting console for Pageant of the Masters dress rehearsals and performances.
**PRINCIPLE DUTIES**:
- Programming, operation, and maintenance of the lighting console, takes lighting cues during Pageant of the Masters dress rehearsals and performances.
- Daily inspection and testing of lighting systems and fixtures to identify any cause of errors, problems or defects.
- Keep a clean and organized work space at all times
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Experience working with Road Hog 4 lighting console
- Familiar with operations and maintenance requirements for light board operations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Must be able to maintain focus in a high-pressure and environment.
- Be willing to work nights and weekends, 7 days a week preferred.
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS**:
Must be able to work outdoors in various types of weather, walk up and down stairs and meet the other physical demands of the job including standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting/moving objects up to 40 lbs.
Job offer is contingent upon the results of a criminal background check.
**SALARY**:$40.00 per hour

- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
