This is a Full time position with a mixture of Allergy Technician and Medical Assistant roles in the beginning. The position will transition into 100% Allergy Technician in 6 months. Our work schedule is flexible between Monday - Saturday (TBD). This will be further discussed during the interview.
**Compensation and Competitive commission commensurate with Experience.**
**Main Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and integrate our new Allergy Service Project.
- Conduct initial patient interview, orientation and education regarding Allergy testing and treatment options.
- Patient follow up and education, prepare and administer Allergy testing and ongoing Immunotherapy, and documentation.
- Perform Allergy Testing (incl. Skin test), Antigen mixes and Immunotherapy injections, order and maintain Exam Room equipment's functionality and order supplies.
- Coordinate insurance verification and obtain referrals and performs related job functions to support the efficiency and effectiveness of our Allergy service.
- Ensure all forms and documentations are in accordance to appropriate procedures and diagnosis coding for each patient, and test results are sorted and recorded and clinical information systems are accessed and updated appropriately.
- Medical Assistant: Measure and record Vital signs and patient history into the EMR, room patients, and ensure that all exam rooms are clean and ready for Providers to examine patients.
- Perform all other tasks assigned by team supervisor, office manager or providers.
**Basic Qualifications**
- **Allergy testing and immunotherapy preparation and treatment experience: 2 years (MUST). **_Will consider International Medical Graduates with Allergy Background._
- Medical Assistant Experience: 1 year.
- **EMR Experience: 1+ years (MUST).** _Allscripts preferred._
- Knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- **Bilingual is a MUST.**:
- Being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 is required unless for medical or religious exemptions.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
