The Ground Transportation Supervisor at Chandler & Campbelle Investment Group "CCD" is responsible for managing ground transportation operations at Palm Beach International Airport. This role involves overseeing the activities of Taxicabs, Commercial Vehicles, and Transportation Network Companies (TNCs) within designated areas, including holding lots, loading zones, terminal roadways, curbs, and sidewalks. The supervisor ensures the efficient and safe movement of vehicles and passengers, coordinating queueing processes, assisting passengers, and monitoring curbside and sidewalk areas to maintain safety.

Essential Job Functions
- Monitor and coordinate activities of Taxicabs, Commercial Vehicles, and TNCs in/at Holding Lots, GTAs, Loading Zones, Terminal roadways, curbs, and sidewalks.
- Coordinate and monitor the safe queueing of passengers.
- Assist passengers boarding Taxicabs.
- Ensure the safety of passengers, patrons, and vehicles by monitoring curbs and sidewalks.
- Restrict access to designated areas to authorized vehicles only.
- Verify that vehicles display the requisite annual Decal and Transponder.
- Conduct random checks to ensure drivers possess necessary documents (Trip Sheet, Hack License, apps, Trade Dress, etc.).
- Prohibit unauthorized curbside dwelling and parking.
- Report and handle incidents involving vehicles in designated areas.
- Manage lost/misplaced items, including unattended baggage.
- Inspect the appearance and condition of Taxicabs regularly.
- Monitor the conduct of drivers of Taxicabs, TNCs, and Commercial Vehicles.
- Assist in handling baggage carts and wheelchairs to reduce hazards.
- Utilize the AVI System for operational efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with County personnel as needed.
- Perform additional duties as requested by the County to enhance ground transportation operations.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate?s or bachelor?s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or airport operations is highly desirable.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
- Proficiency with AVI systems and other relevant technologies.
