**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Manage employee relations, addressing concerns, conflicts, and grievances.
- Conduct background checks and verify employee eligibility.
- Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Maintain accurate HR records, including personnel files, HRIS data, and employee documentation.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Administer HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, investigations, performance management, talent development, safety, and training.
- Responsible for timely, accurately, and compliantly processing the bi-weekly payroll. Audit and process payroll documents.
- Processes employee Time & Attendance data to payroll and reconcile variances.
- As the Employee Benefits expert, administers all employee & volunteer benefit programs such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
- Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes. Responds to benefits inquiries on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, and status changes. Enrolls employees with carriers and processes life status changes.
- Works with HR benefit partners for escalated support needs, including but not limited to plan design, claims administration and appeals, COBRA, retirement administration, and HRIS data integrity.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance.
- Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze data for improvement.
- Participate in performance management activities, including employee development planning.
- Assist in managing administration of and adherence to human resources policies and procedures; advice on compliance with key legislative requirements.
- Coordinate training needs assessment and participate in training activities and special projects.
- Manage assigned HR projects.

**Requirements and Skills**:

- An Associate degree plus 4 to 5 years of similar human resources experience is required, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.
- Experience in Payroll & Benefits.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant employment law, regulations, and practices, to include employment, compensation, employee relations, and performance management.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in HRIS and talent management systems.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.

**Preferred Skills and Qualifications**:

- PHR or SHRM-CP certification.

**Salary**: Based on experience.
