The Manufacturing Technician assembles, aligns, and tests systems, components, and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational and cosmetic requirements.

**Essential Functions**:

- Working knowledge of electronic, optical and mechanical assemblies
- Perform basic computer activities with programs provided
- Identifiy, utilize, and perform preventive maintenance on tools and test equipment.
- Demonstrate comprehension of engineering prints and schematics.
- Report deviations from standard to appropriate resource for review, instruction and authorization and obtains quality inspection when appropriate
- Support Lean manufacturing efforts through continuous process improvement
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures
- Cultivate a culture that assures effective cross functional team work as well as consistently be at work and on-time

**Qualifications**:

- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.

**Preferred Additional Skills**:

- LabView program experience preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency at operating 25%-50% of work stations as documented by training records
