The Warehouse Supervisor and Safety Coordinator will ensure all warehouse and freight operations run as efficiently as possible. Act as site Safety Coordinator. Assist the Leadership Team in implementing strategic plans and improvements within the business.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Act as Supervisor for all hourly warehouse personnel.
- Strive to maintain 100% on-time and accurate customer deliveries.
- Minimize freight costs and coordinate outgoing deliveries with carriers without compromising customer service.
- As a member of the site Leadership Team, assist with identification, prioritization and validation of potential improvement projects and initiatives.
- Lead the site safety Committee and all related activities, including to conduct a monthly site Safety Committee meeting.
- Act as site Safety representative and be responsible for all related activities. Prepare all documentation to maintain corporate safety requirements, and Indiana OSHA VPP Star site status.
- Perform all duties according to company policies and safety rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as necessary.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Skills, knowledge, abilities**:

- Proven Supervisory experience.
- Ability to influence change.
- Knowledge of freight systems, carriers and how to navigate them to get things done at the most economical price.
- Knowledge of OSHA industrial safety requirements and protocols.
- Demonstrated consistent level of high performance.
- Customer focused.
- Results oriented with the ability to bring individuals and teams together to achieve targets and goals.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment at times.
- Strong communication skills.

**Education**:

- High School degree, some college preferred.
- Continuing education in relevant disciplines.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
