**Summary**:
Performs high level administrative office and program support duties for the Policy, Quality, and Staff Development units at the New Hampshire Veterans Home (NHVH).

18 Months of additional relevant experience = Associate's degree

**Minimum Qualifications**:
Education: Associates degree from an accredited institute of higher education with major study in public relations, marketing, business administration or a communications related field. Each additional year approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

Experience: Four years of experience in a field or occupation relevant to public relations, marketing, business administration or other communications related field two years of which shall have been associated with newspaper writing/editing or other public relations experience, with responsibility for providing program information to others.

License/Certification: Valid New Hampshire driver's license and/or have access to transportation for use in statewide travel.

**Responsibilities**:

- Administratively manages the creation, revision, distribution, and recordkeeping of NHVH policies, forms, procedures, and other documentation/communication.
- Researches and develops solutions or alternative methods to manage and initiate the NHVH policy revision and development process, including implementation of system for policy review by staff in accordance with Veterans Administration regulations.
- Gathers, organizes, and analyzes information and data on various quality measures for quality assurance and improvement. Composes, edits, and distributes agenda for the Quality Quarterly Meeting; takes and transcribes minutes according to Veterans Administration regulations.
- Develops and implements records management program for filing, protection, and retrieval of staff training records.
- Schedules and conducts orientation and training of incoming staff to include review of NHVH policies and procedures, NH First, use of Outlook and other basic computer functions.
- Prepares relevant materials for new hire orientation and the admission process.
- Completes the preparation of educational material for all in-service and training opportunities including collaboration, communication, and scheduling of training space, staff, and instructors.
