We are looking for additions to our team to provide various levels of excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business
- from basic cash register transactions to lead-nurturing high ticket sales.
Must be able to learn quickly, work in a fast paced environment, collaborate with teams as well as work alone, and spend extended periods of time on your feet-with an upbeat, positive attitude for customer interactions. Must also be able to lift at least 50lbs.
Paid industry training will be provided.
Pay will begin as hourly and will track to salary after training is complete. Commission is paid on high ticket sales at 3% and is uncapped
- on average increasing your weekly pay by 25%.
**Position can be part time or full time and is located in Urbana. work for as little as 15 to 20 hours a week, or up to 40 based on your availability, and the available days for scheduling are Monday through Saturday. This seasonality of this position lends itself well to students and others looking for summer employment, we regularly work with individuals with school and/or sport schedules to accommodate.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and direct customers
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
- Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
- Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
- Cross-sell products
- Ensure racks are fully stocked
- Ensure store cleanliness
- Manage returns of merchandise
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services
- Assist in inventory management and purchasing to ensure stock remains consistent
**Skills**:
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
- Understanding of the retail sales process
- Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
Shift:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
- Weekends as needed
License/Certification:
- driver's license (preferred)
