- Understand and implement Quality-related requirements specific to customers of their specific departments especially drawings, specifications and Quality Management Systems described in supplier manuals.
- Perform receiving, in-process and final inspections as necessary to support manufacturing.
- Identify and implement corrective action requests, internally and issued by customers.
- Identify and implement risk management activities related to their specific departments.
- Interface with customers regarding product issues.
- Create inspection checklists for the inspection of product.
- Review and approve Quote Requests (Form 170) and customer contracts resulting from Quote Request (Form 170)
- Review and approve Purchase Orders issued to external suppliers or designate a qualified representative.
- Plan and supervise Quality-related activities in support of manufacturing to produce products and provide services that meet or exceed the customers’ specified needs.
- Maintain the Quality Management System as described in the Quality Manual and Procedures.
- Train and supervise inspection personnel.
- Lead and oversee the disposition of the nonconforming material process.
- Document and maintain Quality-related records.

**Skills**:

- Experience in conducting quality inspections using various tools and equipment.
- Proficient in implementing quality management systems, including QA/QC processes.
- Ability to perform internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data for trends and patterns.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate quality requirements to cross-functional teams.
- CDI / QAR experience preferred

**Requirements**:

- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to type, handle and feel. Employees must be able to communicate effectively through talking and listening.  The employee is regularly required to stand; walk, reach, and carry objects with hands and arms.
- Employee is required to walk up and down stairs multiple times throughout the course of the day.
- Required to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Steel toed shoes must be supplied and worn at all times.
- In accordance with ITAR compliance, must be a US citizen

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
