**What You Need to Know**

The FP&A Manager will report to, and receive direction from, the FP&A Director. The FP&A Manager is a key partner to the location General Manager, supporting the implementation of business strategy, monitoring financial performance and is responsible for all FP&A activity as related to their location. This includes the preparation of monthly management reporting commentary packs, leading forecasting & planning cycles and challenging business strategy to maximise financial performance and commercial decision-making.

**What We Are Looking For**

Some of the Key Accountabilities:

- A key business partner to the General Manager as part of the management team to ensure the business is focused on maximizing financial performance and delivering business objectives.
- A key partner to the FP&A Director providing input and support to the Global Functional Strategy.
- Lead Commercial discussions for the business by reviewing, monitoring and advising the Sales & Legal teams of the potential financial impact of commercial risks; costing / pricing levels; terms & cash flow timing; and capacity considerations during bidding and execution stages.
- Coordinate forecast and planning cycles for Finance and Operational teams, communicate requirements clearly and concisely on a timely basis and drive delivery schedule.
- Drive working capital improvement initiatives through preparation of accurate balance sheet forecasts with a focus on DSO; DPO; and Inventory turns.
- Support the site Finance team to ensure they are aware of pertinent information to allow them to deliver on their Balance sheet governance, working capital and cash flow forecasting responsibilities.
- Drive continuous improvement and alignment of our Global Business Management System including FP&A processes and related controls, including documentation of relevant processes.
- Help drive a consistent global approach to optimise the use and reporting of the existing ERP System (AX12) and support the implementation of new systems and tools as directed by management.
- Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements.

**Qualifications / Skills & Experience**

**Education**

Essential
- Degree qualified.
- Qualified Accountant (or time served in a suitable role).

**Skills & Experience**
- Minimum 5+ years post qualification experience.
- Effective team building, motivation and leadership skills.
- Proven track record within a similar finance business partnering role.
- Ideally prior experience of the Oil & Gas sector or similar industry.
- Proven background in maintaining strong financial processes, risk and governance.
- Effective decision maker with demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Excellent oral and written communicator with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally.
- Ability to knowledge share (transmit and receive lessons learned) with other colleagues.
- Flexible approach requiring the ability to communicate with and support international operations across multiple time zones and a variety of cultures.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Excellent ERP experience.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Previous experience in an FP&A/Project accounting environment
