- Knowledge of dual diagnosis, Individual Program Plans, client service needs, medication protocol, emergency disaster protocol, abuse reporting protocol, and behavior plans.

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them lead fulfilling lives. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

**Duties**:

- Assist individuals with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with transportation to appointments and community activities
- Implement individualized care plans and document progress
- Promote independence and encourage participation in social and recreational activities
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care

Qualifications:

- Direct Support Professional I and Direct Support Professional II certificates highly preferred
- One year experience in a related field working with adults with developmental disabilities in a Level 4I home preferred
- Experience:

- Adult Day Program: 1 year (required)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)
- CPR and First Aid Certificate (preferred)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Training (preferred)
- Working with people with developmental disabilities: 1 year (required)
- Direct Support Professional: 1 year (required)
- Experience in direct support or a related field such as social work, assisted living, or home care is preferred
- Knowledge of hospice care, working with people with autism, or childcare is a plus
- Ability to lift and assist with mobility needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
