Bella Montessori is seeking a Lower Elementary Montessori Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Our classroom will be in its 4th year of operation and anticipating an enrollment of 8-12 children in 1st-3rd grade. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about Cultural Studies while also having a solid understanding of Math and Language progression in Montessori. Knowledge of Conscious Discipline is a plus, however; training is available upon hire

**Duties**
- Observe and evaluate students' academic performance, behavior, and social/emotional development.
- An ability to teach groups of children of varying ages, needs, and abilities.
- Patience and excellent observational, communication, and diagnostic skills.
- The ability to multitask, keep calm under pressure, and treat everyone with love and respect.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- A lifelong learner who can be a good role model for children.
- Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
- Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor?s degree in education, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Montessori 6-9 or 6-12 Credential from a MACTE accredited institution preferred.
- IVP Level 1 fingerprint clearance card required.
- CPR/First Aid required
