**Responsibilities**:
The Business Manager has the following responsibilities:

- Must be tactical while overseeing sales teams, inventory, and business operations.
- Hires, trains, supervises and monitors the performance of the sales team.
- Participates in the preparation of the annual dealership forecast by projecting unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profits.
- Maximize and maintain front and back-end profitability.
- Provide customers with an optimal car buying experience while emphasizing a high level of pre-and post-sale customer service.
- Engage, motivate, and support the sales team to achieve performance goals.

The Business Manager should have the following skills, education and experience:

- Motivated, organized, and driven professional who is passionate about advancing their career.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Previous finance and sales management experience in a retail automotive environment.
- Knowledge of dealership management software and vehicle appraisal software/tools.
- Previous experience working with automotive financial institutions, an understanding of transactional paperwork, and walking a customer through the paperwork delivery process.
- Previous experience appraising used vehicles and closing automotive transactions.
- **Physical Requirements**:

- Some lifting (up to 30 lbs.). Long hours on the computer keyboard. Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
- The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
