Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic **Server & Bartender.**. In this position you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of beverages and variety of meals, and ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests. If you have a passion for this industry, excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. This position will consist of some day shifts and weekend shifts (every weekend & holiday required) some shifts are daytime hours and others are dinner hours. You will have an opportunity to work at a long-time Boston landmark established in 1927 and exactly in the same location.

Responibilities/Duties:

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in your service/bartender area
- Handle cash transactions accurately utilizing the Toast POS system (POS system required)
- Engage with customers, build rapport, and create a welcoming atmosphere - Answer phone politely and professionally and handle walk-in takeout orders, pack togo's
- Assist with opening and closing duties including stocking and cleaning as required
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Experience/Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Server and Bartender in a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, mixology techniques, and drink recipes - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs, providing recommendations for both food selections & cocktails
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail -Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food handling safety procedures is an asset -Strong sales skills and ability to upsell products to increase revenue -Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
