Within our Analytical Services team, we have a functional service provider solution, which is a unique partnership that allows our customers to leverage the experience of our staff, while allowing you, the employee, to gain direct experience working onsite at a pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical company, all while maintaining full-time benefits.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Sample preparation involving excellent pipetting skills
- HPLC experience is a MUST HAVE
- Operate liquid handling systems (Protein Maker, Hamilton) to perform high-throughput sample preparation and purification.
- Perform protein analytical assays, including Affinity Chromatography, SEC, CEX, CE-SDS, icIEF and LC/MS to support rapid process development.
- Perform basic data acquisition with clear and concise documentation in electronic lab notebooks.
- Coordinate sample submission and data management for incoming samples from BioProcess Development colleagues to support rapid process development.
- Provide basic laboratory management operations such coordinating shipping, ordering consumables, and coordinating instrument maintenance.
- Performance of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs) to monitor impurities and to assess antigen binding a plus.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in lab sciences such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Material Science, Immunology, Biology, Molecular Biology or similar
- ** Assoc Scientist**: Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job **(comparable to 0-2 years’)**

In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Demonstrated knowledge of multiple applicable techniques such as: Hamilton Robotics or any Automation Platform.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word
- Proven ability to interpret data by performing trend analysis
- Proven ability in technical writing skills
- Proven problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Time management and project management skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative work environment with a team
- Ability to independently optimize analytical methods
