Fun Factory Candy & Novelty Co. is seeking a Retail Support Specialist to partner with regional retailers and distributors to build our brand and business by regular telephone contacts. This position will be responsible for supporting both current customers and the development of new business opportunities to effectively increase overall sales revenue and profits.

Travel may be required, less than 25%.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regular contact with retail stores via telephone to assess product replenishment needs, placing reorders, presenting, and up selling additional products.
- Act as a point of contact for current clients and prospective buyers, for new and existing products.
- Maintain accurate records and notes in company CRM program.
- Meet or exceed expectations of responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Attending trade shows - build relationships, gather prospective leads, and sell products.
- Educate store’s staff on product by engaging in conversation and explaining features & benefits.
- Create and maintain excellent relationships with store managers and appropriate sales team members.
- Generate new sales at independent stores and retail chains we are not currently doing business with.
- Learn and grow knowledge of our products and our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be performance driven and possess excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
- Must demonstrate optimism, integrity, and appropriate judgment.
- Must be willing and able to call 30-100 stores daily.
- Must be able to quickly learn new products, terminology, and associated specifications.
- Must be willing and able to accommodate a flexible schedule, with some travel.
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
- Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office programs.
- Minimum of three years’ sales experience, with a focus on phone and in-person contact.
